Camp Wesley visits the Witte

Each summer the Wesley Health & Wellness Center opens its doors for Camp Wesley.

The Camp Wesley summer program offers children in our community eight weeks of fun and educational activities such as arts and crafts, physical fitness challenges and field trips along with a nutritious breakfast and lunch everyday – all offered to campers at no cost.

The first four-week session is in full swing with the second field trip of the season under the camper's belt. Last Monday, campers ventured to the Witte Museum where they embarked upon adventures in the H-E-B Science Treehouse. The brave defied gravity on the 15ft. H-E-Buddy SkyCycle®, while others took the climb to new heights on Mt. Witte, a 20ft. rock-climbing wall.

Camp Wesley hosted a total of 126 campers on the Witte Museum field trip.
