Marc C. Raney
Marc C. Raney is currently serving as the Interim Chief Executive Officer for Methodist Healthcare Ministries. His leadership at Methodist Healthcare Ministries ranges from serving as the organization’s first board chair to his most recent post as the senior vice president of resource development. In that position, he was responsible for the development of organizational strategies to support Methodist Healthcare Ministries' resource development objectives. His career also includes a role as vice president for advancement at Trinity University in San Antonio where he served for more than 30 years. Marc earned a bachelor's degree from Southwestern University and a master's degree from Boston College.
Chief Operating Officer
George Thomas is the first Chief Operating Officer to serve at Methodist Healthcare Ministries. He is responsible for the overall performance of the operations and service delivery at Methodist Healthcare Ministries including overseeing the organization's budget and more than 350 team members. George earned a bachelor's degree from Montclair State University; a master's degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Dallas; and a master's degree, cum laude, from the University of Dallas. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Anthony "Tony" LoBasso
Chief Financial Officer
Anthony "Tony" LoBasso is the Chief Financial Officer at Methodist Healthcare Ministries where he is responsible for the overall financial health of the organization. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the finance and accounting industry. Prior to joining Methodist Healthcare Ministries, Tony served with CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Health System as regional vice president of finance. Tony earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He is a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Health Care Financial Managers Association.
Dr. Philip Brown
Senior Vice President of Dental Services
Philip Brown, DDS, is the Senior Vice President of Dental Services at Methodist Healthcare Ministries. His role includes clinical leadership of dental staff and management of the quality assurance programs at Methodist Healthcare Ministries' primary care clinics, which provide vital services for low-income and uninsured residents. Dr. Brown brings more than 25 years of experience to his role with a focus on oral surgery and family dentistry. He earned a doctor of dental surgery degree from Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry in Nashville, Tenn. and a bachelor’s degree from Fisk University in Nashville. He is a member of the National Dental Association and Longhorn Dental Study Club.
Dr. Edward Dick
Senior Vice President of Integrated Health Services, Medical Services
Edward Dick, MD is the Senior Vice President of Integrated Health Services, Medical Services at Methodist Healthcare Ministries. His role includes leadership of Methodist Healthcare Ministries’ family medicine providers and primary care clinics, which provide vital services for low income and uninsured residents in Bexar and surrounding counties. Dr. Dick brings more than 20 years of clinical practice experience to his role with a focus on population health and health promotion. He earned a doctor of medicine degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas and earned a master’s degree in public health from the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston, Texas. He also earned a diploma in tropical medicine and hygiene from the University of Alabama, Gorgas Memorial Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. He is board certified in family medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Brian Skop
Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health Services
Brian Skop, MD is the Senior Vice President of Behavioral Health Services at Methodist Healthcare Ministries. His role is to serve as the organization’s clinical leader of behavioral health, including psychiatric services, counseling, social work and parenting programs. Dr. Skop has more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, summa cum laude; a medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine; and he completed his psychiatry residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center. He is a member of several organizations, including the American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law, Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians and Bexar County Psychiatric Association.
Vice President of Regional Operations
Jennifer Knoulton is the Vice President of Regional Operations at Methodist Healthcare Ministries. She is responsible for the operations, financial management, quality and patient satisfaction of the organization's regional nursing and wellness programs, community engagement, and Sí Texas: Social Innovation for a Healthy South Texas project, a Social Innovation Fund program. She and her team work to engage the community of South Texas in issues of health that most directly impact the underserved community. Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and has been a registered nurse for over 25 years. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and Women United - United Way of San Antonio.
Oanh H. Maroney-Omitade
Vice President of Clinical Operations
Oanh H. Maroney-Omitade is the Vice President of Clinical Operations at Methodist Healthcare Ministries where she is responsible for the operations of the organization’s community health programs, including medical, dental, behavioral health and nutrition services, as well as parenting and recreation and enrichment programs. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Oanh was named “One of San Antonio’s Rising Stars” under the age of 40 by the San Antonio Business Journal in 2003 and has also appeared in the 2014 inaugural edition of "Who’s Who San Antonio Women."
Vice President of Accounting & Controller
Cindy McCloy is the Vice President of Accounting & Controller at Methodist Healthcare Ministries and brings more than 30 years of nonprofit experience to her role where she is responsible for overseeing the accounting, accounts payable and payroll departments; including budgeting, financial forecasting and reporting, tax returns and financial audits. She also supervises more than $24 million in community grants that Methodist Healthcare Ministries awards annually. Cindy earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and is a member of the Leadership Texas Class of 2014.
